The Tanzania Examinations Council (NECTA) has announced the results of the Fourth Form for the year 2024, where 477,262 candidates out of 516,695 students with results have succeeded by obtaining grades I, II, III and IV. 

NECTA has said that the achievement has increased by 3 percent, thus reaching 92.37 percent from 89.36 percent in 2023.

 NECTA has said that for the year 2024, the statistics show that the number of candidates who obtained grades I, II and III has increased and reached 221,953 equal to 43 percent, compared to the year 2023 where the number was 197,426 equal to 37.4 percent.

 In addition, the number of candidates who got grade IV and zero has decreased, so the quality of achievement has increased by 5.6 percent.

Additionally, NECTA offers an SMS service to retrieve examination results. To use this service, dial *152*00#, select option 8 for 'ELIMU', then option 2 for 'NECTA', and follow the provided instructions.

Baraza la Mitihani Tanzania (NECTA) limetangaza matokeo ya kidato cha nne kwa mwaka 2024 ambapo watahiniwa 477,262 kati ya wanafunzi 516,695 waliopata matokeo wamefaulu kwa kupata vidato vya I, II, III na IV. 

NECTA imesema ufaulu umeongezeka kwa asilimia 3 hivyo kufikia asilimia 92.37 kutoka asilimia 89.36 mwaka 2023. NECTA imesema kwa mwaka 2024 takwimu zinaonyesha watahiniwa waliopata daraja la I, II na III wameongezeka na ilifikia 221,953 sawa na asilimia 43, ikilinganishwa na mwaka 2023 ambapo idadi ilikuwa 197,426 sawa na asilimia 37.4. 

Aidha, idadi ya watahiniwa waliopata daraja la IV na sifuri imepungua, hivyo ubora wa ufaulu umeongezeka kwa asilimia 5.6.
